This past weekend in the Hamptons was... interesting, to say the least. Some friends and I decided to rent a 'house share' for 4th of July weekend. A house share involves multiple groups and individuals that rent a big house to share. (Think adult co-ed frat house.) Shares are quite common in the Hamptons and I was thrilled to find one at the last minute. I met the woman who arranged the rental. She is about my age, has a grown-up job at S&P, and seemed to be mature and fun. In addition to me... Continue reading ...

A mere mortal, I am powerless to the influence of Oprah. After She challenged her audience to follow a vegan diet for one week, I accepted! 'What the heck, I'll give it a go,' I thought. Well, it worked! I felt healthier and more energetic at the end of the experiment. Although I have incorporated some non-vegan foods (like Greek yogurt and fish) into my diet, I would say that I am still about 80% vegan.
To complement my new, healthy lifestyle, I joined a hot yoga studio, where all of Aspen's... Continue reading ...

My best girlfriend in Aspen recently returned from a two-month hiatus to film Season 7 of The Food Network Star. Though I was super stoked for her, I was pretty bored when she was gone. She's an amazing chef with the energy of The Tasmanian Devil, and I'm sure she's going to win and get her own cooking show on The Food Network! It's always cool to see people you know on TV! It seems everyone has been on some sort of reality show... everyone, that is, but me! The first time I saw someone that I... Continue reading ...

I've always considered myself to be feminine. I wear dresses, lipgloss, and high heels. I flirt with boys, show off my curves and walk with my hips. I'm a total babe! ...at least I thought so until last night. I was hanging out with my friend Sweet P, when she shared a story about her one and only lesbian kiss that she shared with her sorority sister during college. My straight friend (who oddly joined a lesbian sorority at her university) clarified that if she were gay, she would prefer to b... Continue reading ...

After a series of disappointments in NYC, I've decided to travel and get some clarity. First stop: LA! My long-time friend picked me up at LAX and welcomed me to the City of Angels. Though I hadn't slept more than three hours, my friend already had the whole day planned! First, we did a little shopping. Actually, she did some shopping while my broke-ass watched. Next, we went to Venice Beach to people-watch. The scent of marijuana permeated the promenade as homeless-looking people held up sig... Continue reading ...

Rachel is officially on a diet... sorta. I don't really do the "diet" thing but I've definitely noticed a little extra pooch in the belly area. I wasn't aware of the extent of my weight gain until recently, when I was munching at the dessert table at a party and a man made the following comment: "Your baby's gona start kickin' like crazy after all that sugar!" I immediately lost my appetite, and threw the caramel apple in the garbage. Outraged, I went to the bathroom and I did totally look pr... Continue reading ...

I've just had the craziest night! It didn't even start until after midnight. So technically, it's been a crazy morning. I went to meet up with Buddy and his friends in the West Village. After standing in line for 15 minutes, I made my way into the club to find Buddy flirting with a young lady. So, I had to entertain myself. I looked behind me and saw a nice young man, and introduced myself. I told him that I needed to make new friends since mine was busy trying to land tail. He invited me to ... Continue reading ...

About Me
| Rachel Scott |
| New York, New York |
Originally from Chicago, I migrated to Boulder,CO in 1997. I've been in Colorado ever since- leaving only when contracted for work by Club Med Resorts. I had contracts in Mexico, Saint Lucia, Turks and Caicos, and Florida. But after a long-time of being over-worked and under-appreciated as a choreographer, I quit and moved to Miami.
After nearly a year of living in America's butthole, I went on an emergency vacation to Aspen, CO for X-games in 2006, and never left... until now. Goodbye quaint little mountain town; Hello concrete jungle!
