My new roommate is a freaking lunatic! I met her not even three days ago and I already can't stand her. She's already invited drug dealers into the apartment on at least three separate occasions. How do I know? A: She told me. And B: They've offered me drugs. Awesome! (Insert sarcasm here.) Now I'm no Miss Innocent and am not even opposed to medical marijuana. However, I am not a fan of having sketchy-ass drug dealers constantly coming in and out of my apartment. I am especially not a fan of drug dealers spending the night. I am a believer in surrounding yourself with positive people that will help you become the person you aspire to be. Hanging out with drug dealers is probably not the best idea. I'm just sayin'...

My new roommate--who we will refer to as "Crazy"--also seems to feel that she is full of wonderful advice for me, since I am a newcomer to "The City". Although she is younger than me, unemployed, divorced, uses drugs, chain smokes, and drinks a bottle of vodka and a 30-pack of Coors Light every two days (including a refreshing can in the shower), she seems pretty confident that she has more insight than me to being successful. She actually scolded me when I didn't enter an elevator as quickly as she would have liked. "You have to be more aggressive, Rachel! Look at me!" Crazy said in a crowded elevator as she lifted my chin so I could look into her bloodshot eyes, "Stop asking questions and doubting yourself and just be like me and do what you want and don't worry about what other people think!" What great advice: just knock people out of the way so you can leave 3 minutes earlier and don't take others into consideration when making decisions. Ghandi couldn't have said it better himself!
