Skydiving and Restraining Orders... Just Another CRAZY Day (Part II)
(continued from Part I)... I escorted the two female officers to the apartment that I share with "Cool Guy" and "Crazy". Cool Guy limped to the door with a bloody foot, while Crazy ran into her room-- as she always does when the police come. Shortly, three more officers arrived. After much resistance, they finally got Crazy to come out of her room, and asked for her version of events. She spoke to them in her native language of Crazytalk. The conversation went something like this:
Officer: What happened?
Crazy: What happened, happened.
Officer: Well what was it that happened?
(silence)
Officer: How did he (pointing at Cool Guy) cut his foot?
Crazy: His foot got cut how it got cut.
Officer: What was it that cut his foot?
Crazy: The thing that cut his foot is what cut his foot.
Officer: You're not making any sense.
Crazy: Yes I am! I'm making very literal sense.
Officer: No, you are making very little sense.
(When I chuckled, Cool Guy nudged me with his elbow and hushed me.)
I'm not even going to get into the next part of the conversation when Crazy asked an officer his foot size, and then debated him about it. At several points during this ridiculous exchange, Crazy tried to barricade herself in her room, and shut the door on the officers. During each attempt, one of the officers blocked the door with her foot-- preventing Crazy from doing so. These cops were not messing around!
At one point, Crazy started smoking a cigarette in her room. One of the officers told her to come talk to him. She replied, "After I finish my cigarette." He replied, "I'm an officer! I don't wait for you! ...If you don't come right now, I'm going to drag you out." Again, I tried really hard not to laugh out loud. I can't believe how stupid and disrespectful she is. She only made things worse for herself by acting like that. But nothing she does surprises me anymore. The only thing that would surprise me is if she were to act sane, kind, or intelligent.
After being told that she explain what happened or go to jail, she finally spoke with the officers inside of her room. Shortly thereafter, one of the officers asked Cool Guy if he preferred to have her arrested, or taken for a psychological evaluation. The fact that a psychological evaluation was even mentioned confirms that I'm not the only one who thinks that Crazy is crazy! As we were contemplating, another officer approached and asked, "Do you want her locked up or not?"
"Yes!" Cool guy and I immediately replied in sync. As they cuffed Crazy, Cool Guy and I headed to the hospital to have his cuts treated. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see her being hauled off in the police car. What I wouldn't give to see her mugshot!!!!
... to be continued.
