It just never ends with this girl! Crazy is at it again; she has been contacting me and Cool Guy in a pathetic attempt to get back into the apartment. Un-be-lievable! She is so delusional, it's sad. She wrote an e-mail to building management stating that she has lived in the apartment "for quite sometime(sic) and there has never been any issues." ...Ummm, really?! If you're familiar with my blogsite, you are well aware of Crazy's multiple indiscretions--including drug binges, giving her drug-dealing-loser boyfriend keys to the apartment, irrational accusations, late-night guests, and general poor decision-making. Both Cool Guy and I have had conversations with her on multiple occasions to communicate our concerns with these behaviors. This weekend's brawl wasn't the first incident as she is claiming. It's just the straw that finally broke Cool Guy's back. I've been warning him about Crazy since the day she moved in-- which was only a month ago!

Anyway, Crazy called last night in response to a text I had sent her hours earlier that read: Cool Guy and I are packing up your kitchen stuff. When can you come pack your room? I ignored her call. But Cool Guy answered, only to hang up on her as she repeated, "Don't touch my shit! Don't touch my shit! Don't touch my shit!" She immediately called back and threatened to involve lawyers if we didn't allow her to return to the apartment. This didn't sit well with Cool Guy-- who is usually extremely calm. He did an amazing job of putting her in her place!

"You want to involve lawyers? Okay. I didn't want to take it there but if that's what you want, bring it on! Please call your little lawyer, and I'll contact my legal team at my multi-million dollar firm! And, I'll do what the police recommended and file assault charges! ...I've had your back the entire time! I've defended you numerous times and now I have seven stitches in my chin! You crossed the line."

By the end of the conversation, her tail was between her legs as she pleaded for an opportunity to sit down and talk. Cool Guy agreed to meet her the next night. But as far as Cool Guy and I are concerned, it's done! We have already had her removed from the tenant list and arranged to have the locks changed. This meeting is basically meant to let her know this. FYI, the meeting is supposed to take place in about 10 minutes. I'll let you know how it goes.

New development: I learned from the bellman that Crazy's cute pup is still in the building, with one of my neighbors. I immediately called the neighbor to find out what Crazy had told him about the situation, and to see the adorable pooch of course. Apparently, Crazy told him that the two strangers were in the apartment to buy drugs! I guess the deal went bad and fists started flying. That explains why the stranger who slept in my bed (when I was in Aspen) gave Crazy $200!  And it explains why he returned after the cops left: to get his drug money back since he didn't get the goods. Ahhhhhh, now it all makes sense!
